Royal Blackheath Golf Club - "the oldest golf club in the world!"

A Private Members' club, our mixed Membership is drawn from all walks of life. Proud of our history and long tradition, in 2008 we celebrated 400 years of the Blackheath Goffer. We play for the oldest medal in golf in the Spring, and host the earliest known Open competition, but our greatest tradition is of a Club that is inclusive and welcoming to all.

Players of all ages, - we have thriving Ladies, Veterans' and Juniors' sections, enter our regular members' competitions, scrambles, roll-ups and inter-club matches playing for a wealth of trophies, or simply for the joy of improving their game by joining in impromptu weekend roll-ups, a Summer's evening 9-hole get-together or taking part in the Club's full social calendar based in our beautiful and historic Clubhouse, Eltham Lodge.

Our fine Parkland course, laid out over the Great Park of Eltham Palace, is a good test of golf for all levels of play, while our team of Professionals provides excellent group and individual tuition.

Eltham Warren - "one of England's oldest!"

Eltham Warren Golf Club, founded in 1890, is one of England’s oldest nine hole courses, and is situated on the outskirts of Eltham, South East London. Our course was designed by renowned architect and five-time Open champion James Braid and has a local reputation for being maintained in top condition throughout the year, with many interesting features such as strategically placed ponds, ditches, bunkers and rare mature trees, some of which are centuries old. Although relatively short in comparison to some courses at 5850 yards, Eltham Warren provides a test for even the most experienced golfer, as the separate tees for the back nine and some narrow fairways require that accuracy must always be placed at a premium. In recent years we have been proud to host Kent County matches, being the only nine hole course in Kent to have done this. We are a small but friendly club, and welcome visitors and societies during the week. We look forward to welcoming you for a round soon – our course will not disappoint you.

Shooters Hill Golf Course - "breathtaking views from this mature course"

Golf was first played here in 1903 when a 9 hole course was opened. In 1907 a full 18 hole course was laid out by Willie Park and the freehold of the land was purchased several years later, with the mansion of Lowood and some 25 additional acres being purchased in 1924. The course was then completely remodelled in the 1930's by Messrs Harris and Colt & to this day presents a first Class test of golfing ability.

We are blessed with an all year round course, with breathtaking views across the North Kent countryside. The course offers a challenging test of parkland golf, requiring accurate shots to high quality greens, in order to score well.
You can be assured of a warm welcome at Shooters Hill.
Shooters Hill Golf Club is situated within a mile or two of Eltham.
