Local area

Eltham is a leafy suburb with Royal connections within the Borough of Greenwich, itself a historical borough located in southeast London on the border with Kent.

Excellent road and rail links to London and the coast, an abundance of open parks and woodland dating back over 8000 years and a thriving High street with Larger High Street Chains jostling for position next to smaller and more varied independent retailers make this an exciting and particularly convenient place to live.

We boast a royal palace that was the favourite home of Henry V111. A moated Tudor barn located within 6-acres of landscaped gardens that link Sir Thomas Moore to Edith Nesbitt, author of the railway children.
Bob Hope was born here, although he left before he could play at the world’s oldest golf course, yes we have that here too!
We have a theatre, traditional public houses, modern wine bars and numerous restaurants for the night owls amongst you.

Please take time to read a little more about what we have to offer and perhaps plan a visit ~ you wont be disappointed!
